Make a Ganesh Idol

What You Need:
  • Newspapers
  • Edible glue crystals
  • Water
  • Whitener (available at a hardware store)
  • Mould
  • Soak torn pages of a used book or a newspaper in water to make them soft.
  • Make small pieces from it and dry them.
  • Take some edible glue crystals (dink) and dissolve them in water.
  • Add paper pieces and whitener to this glue mixture and mix well.
  • Pour the paste into a mould in the shape of the Ganesh idol.
  • Once the paste has dried it will take 24 hours remove the screws that keep the mould in place.
  • Take the idol, polish it with paper and apply another coat of whitener on it to make it smooth. It's now ready to be painted.
