Lady Bug Kite

What You Need:
  • Tissue paper, xerox paper or plastic sheet - 10x12inches
  • Crepe paper or plastic for the tail - 1inch-wide 7ft-long
  • Bamboo stick or broomstick 12inch-long - 1
  • Bamboo stick or broomstick 11inch-long - 1
  • Bamboo sticks or broomsticks 3inch-long - 2
  • Single line or point bridle
  • Tape
  • Crayons or sketch pens
Method:
  • Fold the paper in half, width-wise and lengthwise at 4inches.
  • Divide the paper into two-thirds.
  • Draw the kite outline and cut it out. Cut a small V at the tow point.
  • Tape the bamboo stick to the back of the kite.
  • Tape the two 7ft-long tails at the bottom of the kite.
  • Tie the flying line to the kite at two points.
