My City Box

Arts and Crafts
What You Need:
  • Old cardboard box
  • Thick white card sheet
  • Pencil
  • Tape
  • Eraser
  • Black marker
  • Sketch pens
  • Crayons
  • Paints and paintbrushes
Method:
  • Cut the thick white card sheet into 10 to 12 squares of equal size. The squares should fit into the box.
  • Stick the squares together horizontally using tape as shown.
  • Draw the outline of a city’s skyline using a pencil.
  • Add details to the drawing using a black marker.
  • Add colours to the drawing using different coloured crayons and sketch pens. In case you make a mistake or want to draw a larger skyline, you can replace or add squares as shown.
  • Stick a plain square on both ends of the skyline.
  • Stick the plain squares on the inside of the box.
  • Paint and decorate the top of the box! Your ‘My City’ box is ready!
