Arts and Crafts
What You Need:
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Scale
  • Tape
  • Acrylic paints
  • Paintbrushes
  • Tea light
Method:
  • Cut a 10cm-long and 2.5cm-thick strip from a cardboard. Use it as a template and cut 35 such strips.
  • Place 5 strips together and stick them with tape to create a long straight line.
  • Bring the two ends of the long strip together to make a pentagon as shown. Secure it with tape. Make 7 such pentagons.
  • Stick the 7 pentagons on each other to make a tower of pentagons.
  • Colour the strips on the outside and let it dry thoroughly.
  • Your pentagonal cardboard lamp is ready. Place a tea light in the centre of the lamp and use it on your desk. You can use a flameless tea light too.
