Vanilla Chocolate Milk

What You Need:
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ½ cup chopped dark chocolate
  • 1½ cups milk
  • ¼ cup fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • Edible colourful sprinkles as required
  • Ask a parent or adult to help you with this recipe
  • Place the dark chocolate in a microwaveable bowl and heat it in the microwave for 45 seconds. Remove from the heat and mix it till it melts.
  • Take fresh cream in another microwaveable bowl and heat it in a microwave for 1 minute.
  • Take milk in a microwaveable jar. Add caster sugar and vanilla essence and mix.
  • Add the hot cream to the melted chocolate and mix till it is well incorporated. This is the chocolate ganache.
  • Coat the rim of individual martini glasses with the chocolate ganache and dip each glass in edible colourful sprinkles such that you get a rim of sprinkles over the chocolate.
  • Pour some ganache in each glass and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Heat the sweetened milk in the microwave for 30 seconds and pour it over the set ganache.
  • Serve immediately.
