Poems
By Anushka Tonapi, Class 3, Sri Kumaran Children Home, Bangalore

My little Sister, she’s full of joy.
My little Sister, she’s my favorite toy.
My little Sister, she’s like a tiny flower.
My little Sister, her naughtiness level is as tall as a tower.
My little Sister, she’s a little prankster.
My little Sister, when she’s angry, she becomes a monster.
My little Sister, for sweets she’s greedy.
My little Sister, to do graffiti on the walls, she’s a freebie.
My little Sister, when she dances, she’s like a freak.
My little Sister, when she sees a dog, she shrieks.
My little Sister, she loves her school.
My little Sister, she enjoys the pool.
My little Sister, no matter how many tantrums she throws,
She’s still my blooming red rose.
