Poems
By Ashrita Damera, Class 10, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Public School, Hyderabad

Lulled to sleep,
On nature's lap,
The wind sang, hushing beside my ears,
The soothing rustle removed my fears,
Twinkling stars fill the sky,
Igniting In me a wish to fly,
The cool breeze,
soothing me like my mom's hand,
Nature's sleep giving wand,
The crickets sang the lullaby,
The hands of moon rays, caressed me,
Lulled to sleep,
On nature's lap,
The wind sang, hushing beside my ears,
The soothing rustle removed my fears,
Twinkling stars fill the sky,
Igniting In me a wish to fly,
The cool breeze, soothing me like my mom's hand,
Nature's sleep giving wand,
The crickets sang the lullaby,
The hands of moon rays, caressed me, the rhythmic hues of my heart,
Tuned by the myriad hues of sky, nature's art,
I slept blissfully
Experienced a nap exceptionally,
The sweet melodies,
By the chirping birds in trees,
The morning's first sun rays,
Opened the shutters on my eyes.
