By Srinitya Duvvuri, Billabong High Thane, Mumbai

Subjects vary from each other

Some dull some wacky and some with colour

Maths and science challenge the mind

English brings all creation it can find

Hindi and Marathi rarely make sense

History and geography keep running round the fence

Computer unravels all the brilliance it contains

Library gives us friends that remain

SPA teaches us the spirit of the game

While Art and craft say ‘recycle’ though the fun remains the same

In short school is my window to the world

It teaches me to become a free bird

Much as I love home,

I also love school

Without which I would feel like a fool.
