What Are Blackberry Phones?

Ask Us Questions

BlackBerry is a line of mobile e-mail and smart phone devices and a service that was developed and designed in 1996, by a Canadian company called Research In Motion (RIM). BlackBerry is primarily known for its ability to send and receive (push) Internet email wherever mobile network service coverage is present or through Wi-Fi connectivity. BlackBerry has been in the news because the e-mails and messenger chats that are used when communicating using a BlackBerry are coded and these messages cannot be tapped. The government has raised this as a security issue as terrorists have used this service to communicate with each other during the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
