As implied by the title, this is a book of feel-good recipes for every occasion and includes desserts that are beyond the ordinary, yet easy and flavourful. It has everything, right from cakes and muffins to pavlovas and mousses. It also includes a couple of handy recipes for frostings and fillings, which make it easy to mix and match and create your own unique cakes, pies and tarts.

The book starts off with an interesting conversion table of products like flour and icing sugar—this ready reckoner is something most bakers will find useful. It continues with a mix of healthy treats like quinoa plum cake, pistachio and jaggery mini cakes and plum and chia seed muffins along with decadent delicacies including a white forest cake, hazelnut and praline babka and chocolate cake with salted caramel ganache. It’s a great book for every kitchen.
