Christiano Ronaldo, the top international football goal scorer, scored twice on his return to Manchester United as it defeated Newcastle United 4-1 in the English Premier League. The 36-year-old became the third-oldest Premier League goal scorer and United’s oldest player since Ryan Giggs’ effort in a 2-0 win over QPR in February 2013. This was Ronaldo’s second game for the club after 12 years. He has rejoined Manchester United on a two-year contract.
