Kohinoor Blossoms in Kurla, Mumbai, has always believed in environmentally sustainable practices. It has been their endeavour to ensure that children understand and imbibe eco-friendly practices at a young age, thus paving the path for a greener future. But this academic year has been one like no other. During most celebrations, students work together to create a festive atmosphere in school. This year, however, everything was virtual and yet, the spirit of the Ganesh festival was vibrant and devotional. The students at Kohinoor Blossoms made eco-friendly Ganesh idols using flour, turmeric, sugar and milk. The little hands crafted and moulded the idols step-by-step by following the guidance of their teachers.
