Nine-year-old Manya Harsha, a class 5 student of Vibgyor High BTM, Bengaluru, has been named as the youngest author to write a book in Kannada by India Book of Records, for her book ‘Neerina Putani Samrakshakaru’. Manya’s book has also been translated into English and is sold as ‘The Water Heroes’. The book throws light on the water crisis and simple solutions that children can adopt to help protect the environment. This is her second book on nature.
