The Pune Zilla Parishad has developed a new e-learning app for school students in rural areas. In the first phase of its launch, the app will benefit close to 35,000 students from class 6 to 8 by improving the quality of education they receive. The app has been created in collaboration with Infosys and the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET). It will make the curriculum available class-wise and will enable students to take their online exams from home. It will also allow students and teachers to check the exam papers of students from other talukas.
