World’s First Digital House

A digital house inspired by the planet Mars has been sold as a non-fungible token (NFT) for over $515,000 (`3.7 crore). The Mars House is claimed to be the world’s first digital house. It has been designed by Toronto-based digital artist Krista Kim and an architect. Through this digital house, they hope to promote the combination of art and technology known as the ‘Techism movement’. Kim designed the home using Unreal Engine—software that is used in video game creation. The buyer will receive a 3D digital file that will allow him/ her to explore the open-plan mansion’s rooms using virtual reality.
