13-year-old Savva Osipov has created WowCube, a hand-held gaming console that looks like a 2x2 Rubik’s cube, but is a whole lot more than that! The WowCube has eight sides, with four square segments on each face of the cube. It has been built to combine the gaming properties of handheld devices, dynamic toys like fidget spinners and digital gaming consoles. It encourages players to think about and solve problems in three dimensions. The cube needs to be rotated like a Rubik’s cube to play the pre-loaded games, which include Scrabble, puzzles and mazes. 24 games can be loaded on the WowCube through its mobile app.
