Dear Teacher
Ten long years, and now the time is here,
Saying goodbye is not so easy,
My teachers, you are a guide, a source of light, a friend by my side,
A new turn in my journey has come ahead.
Through every path, big or small,
You were present to rise each time I had a fall.
Your words of kindness, patience and gentle care,
Has brightened my world, can’t compare.
All the subjects to art and words to play,
I learnt all in a special way.
My strengths, my fears, my dreams, you have witnessed,
You stood along with me, to motivate.
Though I leave the classes today,
Lessons learnt will be in my heart.
Every smile and every word of yours,
Your voices will be heard in my heart.
I am leaving, but it’s fair and very true,
A bit of me will be present with you.
To say Thank You will not be enough,
My journey along with you will be unforgotten.
My new step towards a new world unknown,
I am blessed with your love and wisdom always.
Wherever I go, no matter,
Because of you, GIIS Abu Dhabi will be my home forever.
