I felt very sad and shocked after hearing about the Air India plane crash. Out of 242 people on board, only one person survived. The flight, AI171, was on its way to London on June 12, 2025, when it crashed in Ahmedabad just seconds after takeoff. Reports said it was due to both engines failing.
I started wondering—how could this happen? I searched online about similar problems in Boeing planes and began to think that maybe the company needs to improve how they design and check their engines. It’s possible that something went wrong in the quality checks or the design process.
I believe planes must go through very careful checks, especially the engines and thrusters, because they are like the heart of the flight. Maybe flights should get more rest time between long journeys, and there should be more safety controls and emergency buttons to help in such situations.
Sometimes, I think if the engine had been made by Airbus instead of Boeing, maybe the plane could have made an emergency landing and saved everyone.
It’s not just the 241 people who were lost—it’s also the families, friends, and loved ones they left behind. In the future, I hope there are no compromises in design or safety checks. Every life matters, and we must do everything to keep passengers safe.
