Have you ever met someone who seems to know about everything?

Have you ever met someone who seems to know about everything? People like this often have strong general knowledge—they’re aware of a wide range of topics and understand how the world works. For kids, having good general knowledge not only keeps their mind sharp, but also helps them engage in interesting conversations. A curious mind naturally leads to learning and the more children explore, the more their understanding of the world, and this further helps in boosting children’s knowledge.

Here are some kids’ learning tips to help you improve your general knowledge:

  • Read kid-friendly newspapers such as RobinAge to stay updated on the latest inventions, current affairs and amusing facts. You can also watch kid-friendly news videos that simplify complex news.
  • Playing trivia games or solving quizzes improves problem-solving while also making learning fun.
  • If a question crosses your mind, such as ‘Why does it rain?’, ask your parents or teachers or read up about the topic in a book or on the internet.
  • Read encyclopaedias or other informative books or magazines to explore different subjects.
  • Visiting historical sites, museums and science exhibitions are fun ways to learn through observation.
  • Speak to people about their hobbies and passions. This will increase your knowledge and also help you build deep connections.
  • Jot down the interesting things you learn so you can revisit them and also do further research.
  • Use educational apps to learn a new language, mathematics, science or other topics. You can start with RobinAge’s recommended podcasts and apps.
  • Trying new activities such as camping, cooking or playing an instrument will help you learn new concepts.
  • Keep an open mind, as everything in nature has something to teach.

So, let your curiosity take you on a journey that fuels your wisdom.
