The Napne Bridge, the first glass bridge in Maharashtra, was inaugurated in July. The bridge, situated in Sindhudurg, is built over the Napne Waterfall.
The 22mt-long transparent glass structure enables visitors to admire the natural environment, including the water beneath their feet. It also allows people to experience the region’s thriving ecology safely.
The bridge cost approximately ₹99.63 lakh to build. Its design includes colourful arches, making it visually captivating.
The bridge was implemented as part of the Sindhuratna Samruddha Yojana. This project aims to draw visitors to the region.
