Once upon a time, there lived two children called John and Timmy with their parents. They had always lived in a city. There was as much noise in the city as could be. The city never had any strange news. It was perfect in every way. One day, the children switched on the television. Then the news reporter, Tommy Tinkal announced that just beside their city, a very gigantic palace was being built. Its construction had ended yesterday and it belonged to ten dragons. How the children longed to go there and explore the huge palace! After all, their house was close to the palace. They thought that it was a perfect chance to ask their parents and go there. But some questions came to their minds:
1. Could they go there?
2. Would their parents allow them?
3. What would happen if they went there?
4. Would it be a nice place to explore?
5. Would it be safe to go?
It was better if they went alone. But it would be much better and safer to go with their parents. Being safe is much more important than exploring a dangerous but interesting place. That day they did not tell anything to their parents but kept on discussing what would happen there. The next day morning, they asked their parents that could they go to the palace with them. Though their parents were afraid, they decided to go. When it was settled, the children were excited. They were planning to go there after three days. It was odd to see ‘dragons’ in a palace. But still they didn’t mind. Before they went there, the children took some training from their father to defend and save themselves from the dragons. Their father was an expert in karate and he knew all the techniques. In their minds, the children named the palace – ‘The Mysterious Dragon palace’.
“are you children ready for the day?”, asked mother. The children replied, “yes mother, we are ready”. Then their mother told, “This is a warning to all of you. As you know the palace is very huge, there are high chances of getting lost. So prevent getting lost. We need to stay together and not go far away.” The children listened and nodded their heads in agreement. That night, the children slept in their beds dreaming about the exciting things that would happen in the Dragon Palace. Next day, the children woke up to see their parents packing all their necessaries in a huge bag. Burning with curiosity, John, who was probably the younger brother, ran to the place to see what was being packed in such a big bag. He saw a matchbox, a torch, a small storage area which was shaped like a square made with iron, a few stones to attract the dragons and a copy. A copy! It was odd to take a copy there. “What are our parents thinking to do with a copy”, thought John. “There will be no such use”. That day, after packing all the luggage, the parents told them all the safety measures which should be followed in the palace. But suddenly Timmy remembered something important and he said, “What will happen if the dragons blow fire at us on seeing us entering their room?” Then father answered, “We need to run fast and move away from the area.” So that day at night, the children slept in their beds feeling excited about the journey of the next day. When they woke up the next day morning, they started becoming ready to leave for the journey. The children wore nice clothes and with their mother, they sat in their car and their father started driving to the Dragon Palace. When they reached there, they saw that the Mysterious Dragon Palace was glinting in the morning sun. It looked magnificent and very huge. “So, should we enter”? asked John who was half afraid and half excited. “John! Wake up John!”, he heard a voice. He woke up to find that there was no palace. In fact, he had been seeing all this in his dreams. He smiled and hugged his mother and told her about the palace which he was dreaming about.
