One bright morning, as she sat under a big oak tree reading to some bunnies, a dark shadow crept up behind her. It was the Book Bandit—a sneaky villain who stole the endings of stories so nobody could finish reading them. He believed that the more unfinished stories he had, the more powerful he would become. This not only upset readers, but also the writers who worked hard on their stories.
“Give me the final page now!” the Book Bandit growled in his scary voice. But Reading Riding Hood stayed calm. She knew something important—if she finished reading the story, the Book Bandit would lose his power. So, without looking up, she kept reading. Her voice was steady and the story grew more exciting with every word.
As she reached the final lines, the air around her began to sparkle. The forest lit up with magical light and the words from her book floated around like glowing fireflies. Suddenly, with a loud POOF!, the Book Bandit disappeared!
The stolen endings gently floated back into their books and the forest cheered. From that day on, everyone believed that Reading Riding Hood had special powers that protected stories.
Even children who used to leave books unfinished started reading all the way to the end—not out of fear, but because they saw how powerful stories could be.
