India shone at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025, winning 20 medals including nine gold, six silver and five bronze medals.
The women boxers put up a spectacular performance, clinching nine golds. Nikhat Zareen defeated Guo Yi Xuan of Chinese Taipei 5-0 in the 51kg category, while Jaismine Lamboria earned a gold in the 57kg category. Arundhati Choudhary and Minakshi Hooda were also among the gold medalists.
Among the men, Hitesh Gulia and Sachin Siwach triumphed in the 70kg and 60kg categories, respectively.
The event, held at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Uttar Pradesh, saw the participation of players from about 18 countries.
