First Female Cadet Honoured with President’s Bronze Medal

In a historic feat, Siddhi Jain was presented the President’s bronze medal, making her the first female cadet to earn this honour in the history of the National Defence Academy (NDA).

In a historic feat, Siddhi Jain was presented the President’s bronze medal, making her the first female cadet to earn this honour in the history of the National Defence Academy (NDA). Jain initially aspired to be an engineer and studied for the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE); however, she then decided to be part of the Indian Air Force (IAF). She became part of the 149th NDA course after her second NDA exam attempt. Jain, who belongs to Uttar Pradesh, will now undergo further training at the Air Force Academy (AFA) in Dundigal, Telangana.
