Fly Upto the Moon

Aria Aashish, Class 3, Heritage International Experiential School, Gurugram

I’ll fly up to the moon,
I shall reach by the noon.
I’ll go there on my bike,
Then I’ll do a little hike.
On the way, I’ll take a stop,
At the cloud candy shop.
I will pick a candyfloss,
And give it little toss.
Then I’ll catch it real quick,
And give it yummy lick.
Then I’ll take a little rocket,
Out from my pocket.
I’ll shoot up really high,
Much further into sky.
Now I’m almost reaching moon,
I’ll be landing there soon.
As my rocket lands, I scream!
Its just like a dream!!
Now I’m standing on the moon,
And I meet a baboon!
The baboon has a kite,
That shines in the light.
We fly up the kite,
And then sleep for the night.
Next morning, I take off,
But I caught a little cough.
Then I drank some soothing tea,
And I felt much like me.
I can see the blue earth,
That’s where I took birth.
I’m excited to go home,
I shall land near Rome.
I will roam around a bit,
Until lanterns are lit.
Now, its time to go to sleep,
With lovely memories to keep..!
