A software engineer named Pankaj Tanwar living in Bengaluru, Karnataka, has created a helmet that reports the breach of traffic rules. Tanwar’s helmet makes use of artificial intelligence (AI) and can spot people riding without helmets, not adhering to traffic signals and breaking other safety norms. The helmet also conveys information on the violations to the police with proof, helping the police take action against violators. 27-year-old Tanwar’s innovation has received praise and recognition from many people, including the police themselves.
