V Sivankutty, the Kerala education minister, revealed the state government’s decision to reduce the syllabus for class 10 students to tackle stress and decrease the educational load on them. This initiative involves decreasing the class 10 syllabus by 25% by eliminating repetitive content, while maintaining vital parts of the syllabus. Sivankutty mentioned that the plan received approval from the state curriculum committee and will be implemented from the next academic year.
