I’m a nobody-and I am proud!
No crowds to know my name-
Let others fight for all that flash-
I’ll sit here-free of shame!
What’s fame but idle gossip?
A swarm chasing dust-
I’ll stay in corners-dark and stark
Where silence overthrusts.
So let them chase the glitter!
Let them dance and prance-with Woe
I am a nobody- and I’m proud!
Better than they know!
