Apsara Iyer, an Indian-American student from Harvard Law School, USA, has been elected as the 137th president of Harvard Law Review, the oldest legal scholarship publication run by students.

Apsara Iyer, an Indian-American student from Harvard Law School, USA, has been elected as the 137th president of Harvard Law Review, the oldest legal scholarship publication run by students. She is the first South Asian woman to be elected to the position. Iyer acquired her bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics and Spanish from Yale University, USA, and a Master of Philosophy from Oxford University in the UK. She joined the Manhattan District Attorney’s Antiquities Trafficking Unit (ATU) in 2018 where she investigated art crime. She enrolled at Harvard Law School in 2020.
