DK Shivakumar, Karnataka’s deputy chief minister, is considering the construction of a 250mt tall skydeck in Bengaluru. The project has been conceptualised by an Austrian organisation called Coop Himmelb(l)au and the World Design Organization in Bengaluru and its design will resemble the structure of a banyan tree. If the project materialises, the structure will be India’s tallest observation tower. The building is expected to have a variety of facilities including a sky lobby, restaurants, an exhibition hall, stores and a roller-coaster station.
