The Booker Prize Foundation, the organisation that awards the famous International Booker Prize, has revealed the introduction of a new prize called the Children’s Booker Prize. This award will honour outstanding fiction catering to children in the age bracket of eight to 12 years and the announcement of its first winner will be made in 2027. Three children will be included in the panel that will decide the winner of the £50,000 prize.
