Charity

Aishiki Adhya, Class 9, Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan, West Bengal

Oh! What a pity to see them outside
Sitting on the road, or in the footpath besides;
Struggling with Poverty, their days are horrible–
With no proper shelter, there lives a miserable,
Why don’t we go and lend them our hand?
To go and give them their proper respect to stand?
Atleast for them, leave the give and take policy;
Lend them their needs, to fulfil their scarcity–
The satisfaction that we get after helping them,
Doesn’t need any recognition nor any fame–
The happiness on their faces that we see,
Are the exact meanings of Charity that can be.
