Avantika Kampani, a class 11 student at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai, has designed a card game called ‘Check In’ that helps children and adults identify their feelings and communicate them. The pack comprises 76 cards, with eight characters that represent different emotions. The game helps players to recognise their feelings, name them and come up with methods to deal with them. As part of the game, players engage in fun activities that help rejuvenate them. Through her initiative, Avantika hopes to promote awareness about one’s feelings and emotions from a young age and encourage people to communicate with each other about them.
