Dedication to Teaching 

The work of three educators from Maharashtra has been honoured with the National Teachers’ Awards 2025 by the Union Ministry of Education. Dr Shaikh Mohammad Waquioddin Shaikh Hamidoddin, an educator from Nanded district, has been honoured for his efforts in uplifting students, especially girls, from less fortunate communities. Sonia Kapoor, an educator in Mumbai, has been honoured for developing creative, engaging and affordable techniques to make learning fun. Dr Sandipan Jagdale, an educator from Latur, has been appreciated for his contributions to music. He has worked towards promoting an interest in music among students, including the visually challenged.
