Echoes of the Mind

Arundhati Agarwal, Class 7, Samashti International School, Hyderabad

All I see right now is a messy place.
Scattered items, not a desk of grace.
Yet somehow, I still connect with it;
It reminds me of my mind, I’ll admit.
Fantasies of the world,
A whirlwind of questions turning blurred.
Sparked curiosity — ignited gears turning,
Such hunger — suddenly, everything’s burning.
Noisy echoes that I’m scared to tread,
Daunting thoughts empower the others instead.
If only I could sit and clear the clutter,
My mind would roar, not stumble or stutter.
