- The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) is set to introduce the first edition of the Shooting League of India (SLI) to promote the sport. The league will be similar to the Indian Premier League (IPL), comprising eight franchise-based teams.
- The first SLI is expected to take place at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi from November 20 to December 2.
- It will comprise mixed teams and will include international shooters. The six disciplines of Olympic shooting will be included in the SLI, giving participants a chance to display their skills.
- Each match will last for around 25 to 30 minutes.
