Scientists from China have created an adhesive that has the ability to effectively and quickly treat fractures. The adhesive, called Bone-02, can fix bones in just a few minutes, proving to have promising potential applications in the field of orthopaedics. Numerous clinical tests on patients have revealed that the adhesive is durable and strong. Differing from orthopaedic implants that require removal, this adhesive dissolves, facilitating efficient bone repair. This adhesive is based on oysters’ ability to attach themselves to wet structures.
