Importance of Avoiding War

Aadrika Augusti, Class 6, St. Joseph’s Convent H.S. School, Tezpur, Assam

War is a major problem. Peace, harmony that is what we need. I, for one, can hardly tell people to follow my lead, but I am saying, “ give the matter some thought” so that you can clear some of the things in your mind. This, however does not occur to us in a rage. Think things in a calm state of mind. In a rage, we cannot think properly. As it goes, we declare war and this thought does not come at all. Wars do not do anything but misery, anger and a desire for revenge. We can make war occur less in number. Though gradually, but we can. When you are out of your rage, think. Sort things out. Spread peace.
