- Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) has partnered with Dassault Aviation to produce Rafale fighter aircraft fuselages in India, representing a transformative move for India’s aerospace sector.
- An advanced manufacturing centre will be set up in Hyderabad by TASL for this purpose. Major segments of the jet, including the central fuselage and the entire rear portion, will be produced at the facility.
- The facility will be equipped to manufacture two fuselages each month.
- This collaboration marks the first instance of Rafale fuselage production outside France, with TASL playing a significant role in the production process.
