Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy has achieved a historic milestone by securing the highest rating points as compared to any Indian bowler in the history of Twenty20 Internationals (T20I). With 818 points in December, Chakravarthy earned a spot among the 10 highest-rated T20I bowlers of all time on the International Cricket Council (ICC) list. This is the 34-year-old’s personal best rating, which arose from his outstanding performance during India’s T20I series against South Africa. Chakravarthy had attained the top spot on the ICC’s Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings list in September 2025 and is now ahead of New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy, his closest competitor, by a significant margin.
