On September 19, Reliance Jio launched Jio AirFiber, a fixed wireless broadband service. Jio AirFiber is a plug-and-play 5G hotspot device and can be managed by users via an application. It provides users with internet speeds of up to 1.5Gbps and its large Wi-Fi coverage can span across 1,000sq ft. The service has many features including support for Wi-Fi 6 and parental controls and can be integrated with the Jio set-up box, enabling users to view television uninterruptedly.
