‘Icon of the Seas’, a cruise ship with a capacity of 7,600 passengers, is expected to launch in January 2024.

‘Icon of the Seas’, a cruise ship with a capacity of 7,600 passengers, is expected to launch in January 2024. The ship belongs to Royal Caribbean International and was constructed at Meyer Turku Shipyard in Turku, Finland. It is approximately 1,200ft in length and will have 20 decks. Guests will be able to avail of numerous amenities including restaurants, a sports court, a rock-climbing wall and an arcade. Additionally, the vessel will have the world’s largest waterpark at sea featuring six water slides, nine whirlpools, seven pools and a 55ft high waterfall. The vessel will have 28 different kinds of accommodation and will cruise to islands located around the Caribbean from Miami, USA, right through the year.
