Life Skills to Be Taught in Schools

The Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad has collaborated with Magic Bus India Foundation, a Mumbai-based non-governmental organisation (NGO), to train government schoolteachers in Haryana to provide life skills education to students.

The Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad has collaborated with Magic Bus India Foundation, a Mumbai-based non-governmental organisation (NGO), to train government schoolteachers in Haryana to provide life skills education to students. This initiative has been undertaken under the Samagra Shiksha project and aims to aid approximately 80,000 adolescents studying in government schools in Haryana. Around 1,400 teachers from Panchkula, Gurugram and Yamunanagar will be trained by the NGO to impart knowledge about decision-making, self-awareness, problem-solving and other important life skills.
