Two pieces of music by renowned German musician Johann Sebastian Bach were played for the public for the first time in more than three centuries.
Bach, who was known for composing music in the 18th century, had created two music pieces that were so far unknown.
A musicologist named Peter Wollny came across these pieces in 1992 in the Royal Library of Belgium and they were studied in detail for years until researchers were certain they were composed by Bach.
The pieces that carried Bach’s signature style were performed by Ton Koopman, a Dutch organist, in Germany in November.
Bach is famous for his Brandenburg Concertos and Goldberg Variations.
