After the demise of Vikram Kirloskar, the former chairman and managing director of Kirloskar Systems Private Limited, his daughter Manasi Tata has been appointed as director of the company’s joint-venture firms. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Tata played a significant role in setting up the company’s financial services arm and also established its real estate arm. Tata received training at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, where she learned about manufacturing processes, quality control techniques and Japanese work culture. She is the daughter-in-law of businessman Noel Tata.
