A mechanical elephant launched by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), an animal rights organisation, visited Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School in Delhi to teach children about animal welfare. Ellie, the life-sized mechanical elephant, spoke to the children about the cruelty towards elephants in circuses and other places and about the importance of being empathetic towards animals. The elephant provides explanations to children in both Hindi and English. Through this initiative, PETA aims to encourage kindness towards animals.
