60-year-old Michelle Yeoh made history by becoming the first woman of Asian descent to win the Best Actress award at the Academy Awards. Yeoh is also the fifth person of Asian descent to win an Oscar in an acting category and the first Malaysian-born performer to be honoured with a Best Actress Oscar. Yeoh won the award for ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’, which is a Kung Fu meets science fiction meets metaphysical action comedy. In her acceptance speech, she dedicated her award to her mother and all the moms in the world, because they are the real superheroes, and also reiterated that one should always dream big as dreams do come true.
