- India Post has introduced post offices with modern facilities on the campuses of a few educational institutions in India.
- These post offices are ‘Gen Z’ themed and feature modern elements such as creative seating areas and kiosks. They also include fascinating designs, making them more suitable and interactive for youngsters.
- They are equipped with smart service touchpoints, QR-based parcel booking, digital payment facilities (UPI) and free Wi-Fi zones.
- These facilities have been opened at Andhra University in Visakhapatnam and CMS College in Kottayam. They have also been established at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and IIT Bombay campuses.
- These facilities aim to improve accessibility of postal services.
