I sit on my comfy chair,
In the balcony, one silent night.
I see a glittering object in the sky,
What is it, just a star too bright?
Or is it a suspicious UFO?
No one knows for sure,
Oh help! Now I see,
The object is coming towards me!
It softly lands on the ground,
An aura of suspense surrounding it.
“Who is there inside?”
I ask myself as I move in my seat.
I suddenly get lifted off the ground,
And start to spin around,
With eyes shut in fear I find myself
Landing in front of the object itself!
I shiver with both fright and cold,
What’s going to happen now?
A small door opens quietly in it,
An alien comes out giving a bow.
With glittering eyes and green body,
He takes slow, shuffling steps towards me,
“Good evening”, he says, the tone robotic,
Yet it was queer and a bit comic!
I ask “O alien, why have you
Come to our planet so humble?”
He says “I have come to your planet
To stop it from starting to crumble.”
“I see your planet is in deep trouble,
Energy requirement is getting double,
Unless you find a better way,
You are heading towards doomsday.”
“There is only one way to survive,
If you can harness solar energy,
I will teach you today,
A perfect and effective strategy.”
He leads me into the spaceship,
Where there’s a lot of strange equipment.
I learn the secret of trapping solar power,
I exclaim “This will be a game changer!”
The alien smiled at my excitement,
“But don’t let anyone know that,
It was me who taught you this,
I want the feather to be in your hat.”
Then he boards the spaceship and zooms away,
I stare at it disappearing and say,
“O alien, I will be forever grateful,
Our Earth will now be pollution free and beautiful!
