New Flying Gecko Species Found in Mizoram

A new species of flying gecko was discovered in Mizoram by researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Biology Tübingen, Germany, and Mizoram University.

A new species of flying gecko was discovered in Mizoram by researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Biology Tübingen, Germany, and Mizoram University. The newly discovered species has been named Gecko mizoramensis, after the state of Mizoram. This new species, which was discovered along the Indo-Myanmar border, lives in trees, has a flat tail and webbed limbs and is active during the night.
